Editor’s Note
Some women lead with visibility, while others lead with intention. And then there are women whose work carries something deeper...a quiet, thoughtful expression of care, stewardship, and love.
In this edition of leConversations, I had the privilege of connecting with Tawni McAleer, founder of Luxe & Bloom, a brand rooted in meaningful connection and intentional gifting. We also had the pleasure of collaborating on our LUXE Within Workshop held last June. She was so gracious in sponsoring a beautiful curated and custom gift box as a raffle that was won by one of our workshop participants, who absolutely adored it!
Her brand and her work reflects something I often speak about within LOOKLIVELUXE:
That luxury and refinement is not always loud. Sometimes, it is found in the way we serve, the way we care, and the way we create space for others to feel seen.
In this conversation, Tawni shares what it looks like to steward a brand in a season of motherhood, surrender, and trust in God’s timing.
Meet Tawni McAleer, Founder of Luxe & Bloom
Tawni McAleer is the founder of Luxe & Bloom, a gifting brand centered on intentionality, connection, and care.
What began as a creative expression has become a meaningful way to serve others... helping people celebrate life’s moments and support one another through both joy and difficulty. Through her work, Tawni reminds us that even the smallest gestures can carry deep significance — and that thoughtful giving can be a reflection of love, encouragement, and faith.
The Conversation Begins
Valerie: What truth about who you are has anchored you most in this season of your calling?
Tawni:
The truth that has anchored me most in this season is that God is in control, and His plans are far greater than anything I could create for myself or my business.
As a business owner and now a mother, this season has looked very different than I once imagined. There have been moments where I’ve felt behind — in growth, in output, in comparison to others — but God has been gently reminding me that I’m not called to keep pace with anyone else. I’m called to be obedient to what He has placed in front of me.
Luxe & Bloom was never just something I decided to build — it’s something I truly feel led into. God has given me a love for creating and a desire to serve others, and I see that come to life through helping people stay connected in meaningful ways. Whether it’s celebrating a birthday or supporting someone through a difficult time, these gifts carry so much more than what’s inside the box… they carry care, intention, and love.
In this season, He’s teaching me to trust Him fully and to surrender the outcome — to know that even if my business looks different than others, it is still deeply meaningful. And the ability to run this business while being present with my son is a blessing I don’t take lightly.
I’m continually asking God to guide my decisions, to show me where He wants me to go, and to use this business for something greater than myself.
Valerie: How do you stay aligned with what God has entrusted you to steward?
Tawni:
I stay aligned by staying rooted in God’s word and inviting Him into every part of my business. In this season, that looks like daily quiet time, constant prayer throughout the day, and even small moments — like listening to worship music while fulfilling orders — that keep my heart centered on Him.
I’m continually asking God to guide my decisions, to show me where He wants me to go, and to use this business for something greater than myself. I’ve come to see Luxe & Bloom not as something I own, but something I’ve been entrusted to steward — along with my creativity, my customers, and my role as both a mother and a business owner.
When I start to feel pulled out of alignment — through comparison or pressure — I come back to prayer and remind myself of my purpose: to serve others well.
In this season especially, I’ve learned to shift from chasing what will grow the business the fastest to choosing what feels aligned with where God is leading me.
Valerie: What refinement has strengthened your leadership recently?
Tawni:
The refinement that has strengthened my leadership in this season is learning to release the pressure to do more and instead embrace a slower, more intentional pace.
After becoming a mother, I no longer have unlimited time to pour into my business. What once felt like a limitation has actually become an invitation — to trust God more fully, to let go of perfection, and to surrender the idea that growth has to happen on a certain timeline.
This season has led me to release the hustle mentality and constant comparison.
I’ve become more intentional with how I spend my time, more prayer-led in my decisions, and more confident in saying no to what doesn’t align.
Even honoring the Sabbath has been a meaningful shift — choosing to trust that God will sustain what I’m building, even when I step away.
This refinement has not only changed how I lead my business, but how I show up in my life — allowing me to be more present as a mother and more intentional in how I serve others.
Valerie: What shaped the way you lead women?
Tawni:
The way I lead women has been shaped by the women who have poured into me and the seasons that have reminded me how deeply encouragement matters. My mom and other strong, Godly women in my life have modeled faithfulness, strength, and what it looks like to serve others with intention.
One of my closest friends, Madison, had an especially profound impact on me. She was the kind of person who saw the best in others and spoke life into them. Although she passed away a little over two years ago, her light and the way she loved others continues to shape how I show up today.
Because of that, I’ve felt called to be a woman who is faithful, gentle, and encouraging — someone who creates space for others to feel seen and valued.
That desire is at the heart of Luxe & Bloom.
I want every woman who receives one of our gift boxes to feel loved, encouraged, and reminded of her worth — not just in a surface-level way, but in a way that reflects how deeply she is valued as a daughter of the King.
Valerie: What do you hope women carry with them after encountering your work?
Tawni:
I hope that after encountering my work, women carry with them a deep sense of being seen, loved, and truly valued. More than anything, I want each gift to feel like a reminder — that they are not alone, that someone is thinking of them, and that they matter.
At its core, Luxe & Bloom is about so much more than the gift itself. It’s about delivering connection, encouragement, and love — especially in moments when words can be hard to find.
And in a deeper sense, I hope every woman is reminded of how deeply she is loved — not just by the person who sent the gift, but as a daughter of the King.
If anything, I hope it inspires her to carry that same love forward.
A Moment of Reflection
I love the hope Tawni shares through her work that she has stewarded in this season. Also, what stands out in this conversation is the quiet strength of surrender. I remember finding her on Instagram because...well she is also a faith-based business with the word "Luxe" in it's name. It intrigued me to want to learn more and support her.
She has been kind from the very first inquiry or "DM" I should say. I asked her how has it been to grow since she is faith-based...and she shared something very vulnerable, but so valuable. Tawni used the word "slow" BUT it wasn't in the way that was concerning but more so...intentional. Growth was slow yet intentional.
We're living in a culture that often celebrates speed, growth, and visibility. However, her leadership reflects something different:
Intentionality.
Obedience.
Trust in God’s timing.
Her story is a reminder that not every season is meant to accelerate. Some are meant to surrender timing and refine.
Because it's important to remember that not every calling will look the same and not every season is meant to produce at the same pace.
But when we remain aligned with what God has entrusted us to steward, even the quieter seasons carry purpose.

If this conversation resonated with you, I encourage you to reflect on what it looks like to lead and build from a place of alignment rather than pressure. And if you are in a season of refining your voice, your influence, or the work you are building, know that clarity often begins not with doing more — but with becoming more aligned.
Be sure to follow what Tawni is packing in her luxe, curated and custom gift boxes on Instagram and support her faith-based business Luxe & Bloom. It's a 10/10!
Because the most meaningful work is not always the most visible. But it is always the most intentional.
Stay tuned for our next interview, lovelies!
